The INMED ASE hub is located in Vanderbijlpark outside Johannesburg in the Gauteng province of South Africa. It houses commercial aquaponics systems for food production and training. It also serves as a consolidation center for aquaponics farmers to sell their harvests at higher market rates as well as purchase inputs, such as seedlings and fingerlings, at bulk prices. The INMED ASE includes satellite centers run by INMED-trained farming cooperatives, schools, and communities in Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Free State, and Northern Cape provinces of South Africa to provide local training and support. The INMED ASE will scale throughout South Africa, with plans to implement the program in Brazil, Peru, Jamaica, the U.S., and beyond. Visit https://inmedase.org/.
